It's officially pumpkin season at Backroads. Cooking up fresh pumpkin for baking takes me back to childhood. The day after Halloween we cut up the jack'o'lanterns and made my dad a birthday pumpkin pie. Every single year until he could no longer stomach pumpkin pie. 🤣🤣
