Since so many people have asked, here's the update on my beloved Axolotls. Naihtla and Elu are not as happy as they normally are in their big home at the shop but they are safe and healthy in a temporary tank here at home with me.

It is with a heavy heart to come to you this morning. We stood in the square in downtown Lexington this morning as we watched the history of Main Street change. A large fire engulfed and destroyed both Shoto and The Candy Store. Although both Bagels and More on Main and Main Street Deli were damaged in the process the damage was not as severe. We pray for everyone involved, the owners and their employees. We look forward to the rebuilding and opening of all the stores involved. May God be with all of them during this difficult time.
