Late nights, early mornings, and a whole lot of juggling. Running a small business while working full time, shuttling our little one around town to all her activities, worrying about our oldest traveling the roads for fishing tournaments, and keeping up with a household and farm is definitely not for the faint of heart!

But the best part of this crazy, beautiful life? I get to do it all with my best friend.

Clay and I never imagined our lives would look quite like this, but here we are, living a life that’s busy, unpredictable, a little chaotic, and full of adventure. Wouldn’t trade this wild ride for anything!

Billy was able to leave the farm yesterday for a field trip. We aren't sure if he loved it or hated it. Nevertheless he loves humans more than his goat friends.

🍞 NEW SOURDOUGH DROP DAYS! 🍞

Hey, 14 Carrot Whole Foods friends! ❤️ We’re excited to share a little update from Downes' South Farm and Bakery! 🌾

Our fresh, homemade sourdough bread will now be delivered EVERY TUESDAY AND FRIDAY instead of Wednesdays!

That means more chances to grab your favorite sourdough and enjoy a fresh loaf throughout the week. 🥖🤎

It's Sunday! A new drop is open so get your orders in at https://www.hotplate.com/dsfandb. We also have a couple of fun updates to announce:

First, pumpkin spice is back! Sourdough rolls and Sourdough Swirl have been updated to allow you to choose between cinnamon or pumpkin spice. This option will run through the end of December. You will also find pumpkin spice sourdough loaves instead of cinnamon at Wingard's Market and 14 Carrot Whole Foods.

Second, a Feed the Farm option has been added to the menu! By adding this to your cart, and using discount code SCRAPS at checkout, you will recieve $1.00 off of your order! There is no minimum amount off scraps (fruit and vegetables) required, but we ask for honest use of this option. You may drop your scraps off to us at the time of order pickup and may be used as many times as you have scraps available.

Please read the Feed the Farm description for acceptable and non acceptable items. Our animals health and wellbeing is important!
