One of the most requested items on the menu, the Blueberry Streusel Muffins continue to have a loyal fan club—and for a good reason.

Made with locally grown blueberries from our friend Sid, these soft, buttery muffins are packed with fresh blueberry flavor and baked from scratch right here at the Welcome Filling Station kitchen.

Surprise! The not so secret secret is out. The kitchen is working like a dream, has been fully inspected, and our food has been officially lab tested by the State of North Carolina!

From the incredible restoration of this old building by the endlessly talented Dale Cowan, to the watercolor paintings created by my angel of a mother-in-law, Mary Ruth Marion Teague, every detail of this little space tells a story.

There is so much love poured into these walls — the kind of love that takes time, patience, and faith. And standing here now, I’m reminded that the best things in life truly are worth waiting for. 🤍
