Long post ahead 💛 :
Hi everyone! I started this journey in December 2021, and to say that it was one of the best decision I’ve ever made would be an understatement. Posting this isn’t easy but moving forward HoneySuckle Baking Co. will be closed until further notice. I have accepted a full time position that will take up most of my time. This shift will take me some time to adjust, and I hope to not be gone forever (only time will tell) but at the moment I have to halt orders for a smooth transition to this position. This decision did not come lightly as it was a very emotional one for me to make, because you all truly have a huge spot in my heart. Over the last 14 months I’ve had the opportunity to make HUNDREDS of orders and meet some of the best people. Being able to have the gift to create edible art, and bring smiles to peoples faces with food will forever be my favorite thing. I am so lucky to have been a part of so many of your alls special days and for that I’m truly grateful. I may be a little bit bias in saying that my allergen orders have been my favorite of all to make, as we live in a world where getting these accommodations in restaurants/bakeries is very hard to do. (I’m ecstatic to see the new announcements of several different allergen accommodating bakeries!) If you have any questions moving forward, please don’t hesitate to send them my way as I’d be happy to answer them. I will keep you all updated as I go, if and when I may have availability to do orders moving forward. This will not effect any orders I currently have or wedding cakes I have a contract with.
