The oven has been glowing softly again, like it never forgot me 🤍

Flour dust in the air, slow mornings, and a loaf that rose gently with time and care. Crisp, golden edges with a tender, cloud-like center — the kind of bread meant to be torn by hand and shared at a worn wooden table.

Stepping back into the kitchen and reintroducing myself for those who are new here 🤍

I took some time away—time that was deeply needed. If you know me personally, you understand why. I appreciate the quiet support more than words can say.

Even in the stillness, the oven stayed warm and the dough kept rising. Bread has always been a place of comfort for me, and I’ve continued baking through it all.

I’m here again, slowly and intentionally, grateful to share this space and my loaves with you.

Well hey there, friends 🤎

The Bread Shed has been a little quiet lately — and for good reason. Our home has been taking turns with the flu, and when the babies need mama, the dough waits. 🥣✨

Thank you for the grace while we’ve been resting, wiping noses, and living off toast (ironic, I know).

I also wanted to chat about the Valentine’s giveaway. The heart behind it was so genuine and sweet — but goodness, keeping track of the entries turned into more than this flour-dusted brain could juggle. While it didn’t quite take off the way I’d hoped, I’m still so grateful for each of you who joined in and cheered this little bread dream on.

So here’s what we’re going to do instead 🤍
I’ll be switching it to a simple, open giveaway for all followers — no hoops, no tracking, just a wholehearted thank you.

This is a soft launch (be gentle with me 😌), but I’m officially opening up ordering for The Bread Shed!

I’ve added a Menubly link where you can place bread orders directly. Here’s how it works:

• If accepted, we’ll confirm a pickup date together

For now, I’m really focusing on my Original Sourdough Loaves to keep things consistent and dialed in — however, specialty loaves are still available in limited quantities 👀

A little happy moment I wanted to share 🤍

Over the past couple of days, I’ve received three requests for loaves purely from word of mouth—and my heart is so full. I’m beyond thankful for the kind words, the encouragement, and especially the repeat customers who keep believing in The Bread Shed before it’s even fully up and running.

I’m not officially launched just yet, but I’m getting so close, and moments like this remind me why I started. Thank you for cheering me on, sharing my name, and trusting me with your bread. It truly means more than you know. 🍞✨

A llittle quiet over here on the posting front, but don’t mistake that for inactivity 🤍

Behind the scenes, I’m deep in the process — fine-tuning recipes, dialing in consistency, and gearing up to officially launch my mini-site + menu. Lots of flour, lots of notes, lots of learning.

I’m currently debating the best way to handle ordering:
• pre-orders only with set drop dates
• an order system that stays open 24/7 where I accept or decline based on timing
• or possibly a mix of both

Still working out what makes the most sense while keeping things sustainable and enjoyable — because this is meant to be thoughtful, small-batch bread made with care, not chaos.

In the meantime, I’ll continue posting available extra loaves here as they pop up.

Yes. Naming your starter is apparently a thing. Who knew? Me? I didn’t… but now I’m officially that person. Don’t @ me. 😎
