As I was placing an order this morning, I was reminded of something important...

None of this would be possible without you.

Every loaf of bread, cookie, donut, biscuit, sandwich, and meal you purchase helps this little bakery continue to grow. We don't take your support for granted for a single second. After every market weekend, I do my best to reinvest back into the business so we can continue bringing you new products, better equipment, and more options that are always safe for our gluten-free, dairy-free, celiac, and Alpha-gal community.

This week, that investment was a dough sheeter, which is scheduled to arrive by the 17th!

What does that mean? It means I can finally start working on one of the most requested items I've had people ask for—🥐croissants🥐! There will still be plenty of testing ahead, but having the right equipment is a huge step toward making that happen.

🚨 Public Service Announcement to Owensboro

If you've been to the grocery store looking for plant-based butter, cream cheese, or heavy cream and found suspiciously empty shelves... I may owe you an apology. 😅

To whoever walked into the dairy-free section today and thought, "Wow, they really got cleaned out," please know that I was simply over here preparing for bake day and may have gotten a little carried away.

Apparently, when you're making gluten-free, dairy-free goodies, "a few ingredients" somehow turns into enough plant-based butter and cream cheese to make the store manager nervous.

So if you're searching for those items and coming up empty-handed, I sincerely apologize for my enthusiastic shopping habits. I promise they didn't disappear into a secret hoard - they're being transformed into fresh baked treats for this weekend's market. 🧁🍪🍞

On the bright side, if I bought all the ingredients, the least I can do is share the results!

This weekend at The Owensboro Regional Farmers' Market, alongside our pretzel bites and pretzel bun chicken sandwiches, we will have...

- Bakery Style Muffins (mini or jumbo) - Chocolate Chip, Banana, Blueberry and Cinnamon Streusel
- Mini Banana Bread - Plain, Chocolate Chip or Walnut
- Sourdough Granola Bites (contains peanut butter)
- Sourdough Sandwich Bread
- Coffee Cake
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Dippers with dip
- Brookies..and maybe a surprise or two!

As always, EVERYTHING is Celiac and Alpha-Gal safe, gluten and dairy free!

Gluten-free AND dairy-free buttermilk biscuits are making their debut this weekend!

I’ve had so many requests for a true biscuit that’s still soft, fluffy, buttery tasting, and comforting… without the gluten or dairy.

Perfectly paired this weekend with gluten-free, dairy-free, alpha-gal safe chicken sausage gravy!

A little change to this weekend’s bakery lineup…

Due to some unforeseen issues, there will not be any sandwich bread available this weekend. I know many of you look forward to it each week, and I truly appreciate your understanding. 💚

The good news? The sweet breads will still be making an appearance, and they are absolutely worth saving room for!

Thank you all for supporting our little allergy-friendly bakery through the busy, sometimes chaotic, behind-the-scenes moments.

While we’re still waiting on flooring to be installed… we decided to turn the old wood craft room into even MORE bakery space.

And honestly… if you’re already renovating, why not go all in and order a brand new matching freezerless refrigerator and upright freezer too? 😅

Big things are happening behind the scenes over here, and we are so excited for the extra space, better workflow, and all the new goodies this will help us bring to the market and bakery!
