This year for Purim, I want to make a donation to a cause that is meaningful to me and my family.
As many of you who have been following me for a long time know, my husband .photography is from Israel. On October 7th 2023, my heart sank when I woke up and saw the news of what had happened. We immediately called his parents to make sure that they were ok, and what came after that was absolutely unimaginable.
Unfortunately, some people may find it political that I am sharing this. And if that is the case, then my page is not for you. It shouldn’t be political to share that you are grieving for a people and a country that have become near and dear to your heart.
I have decided to work with who has been raising money for the Bibas family, who were taken hostage on October 7th. A father, a mother, a 4 year old, and a 9 month old. The father was recently released from being held hostage, but, unfortunately, the mother and children were all m*urdered in captivity. I will be giving 50% of the profits from the hamentashen to help in the recovery for the Bibas family.
Flavors: raspberry, apricot, poppyseed, and chocolate.
Orders: must be made in a minimum of 6 hamentashen, and you can mix and match as you please! Deadline to order is March 9th at 10PM
Cost: 6/$15
Payment: Full payment required to hold your order through Zelle, Venmo, or Square
Pickup: March 11-14. Please email me to coordinate a time. (Order form in bio! Please indicate how many, which flavors, and preferred pickup day.)
