It's OCTOBER! Time to begin PEANUT BRITTLE orders, big and small, my friends. This season (Oct.1-Feb 14) I will offer the following brittles and sizes:

Classic Peanut Brittle
Pecan or Walnut Brittle
Plain (no nuts) Brittle
JALAPENO Brittle

ORDERS can vary in size and packaging from 1 oz baggies to 1 lb (16 oz) boxes. I will be making batches of brittles three nights per week, based upon demand, so please get your orders in at least a couple days ahead. (This Brittle remains good unrefrigerated and sealed from the air for at least a month.)

PRICES are once again adjusted for ingredient costs, so this season the brittles will be $0.90 per ounce.

I can be contacted by phone/text, messaging here on FB or through posting response. Pickup is by arrangement, as I am out and about a lot with my Neat Feet Mobile footcare business as well.

This week, many types of fruit have found their way to my doorstep...and the fridges are FULL!!🍇🍎🥭🍒🍑🍓So, what to do with them all??

A SUMMER SHRUB!!
This delicious drinking apple cider vinegar/fruit beverage is chock full of the sunshine of summer...the purples, reds, orange colors; simple syrup, hibiscus, elderberries, orange peel...OH MY GOODNESS!

Then don't forget the complementary herbs...immune building, supportive of digestive strength and providing an amazing alternative to soda or even iced coffee/teas.

Batch #1 will be ready by Wednesday. Batch #2 will be made using the cold method, so will be ready by August 20th.

I will be taking pre-orders anytime, so contact me to let me know what you want/need! This 1st batch is to help combat the heat, exhaustion and dog days of summer...delicious added into a mixed drink, as a base for a sparkling water, in an iced tea for flavor and tonic effect. AND, you can further reduce it to create an amazung, healthful syrup over pancakes or ice cream!

Many thanks to all the folks who quickly bought out our pistachio jellybean cakes and german chocolate whoopies yesterday, in spite of the rain! Most of the breads disappeared as well!! It's always nice to have a special price offered on favorite products through the season.

The Herb Italian and Rustic French round 1 lb loaves are so fresh and perfect to accompany meals, turn into french toast, make sandwiches, and to cut into cubes for making dressings/stuffing or into bread crumbs!! At $5 per loaf, you are getting a LOT of bread made from organic white and wheat breads!

Soon, I will be offering "seeded" breads to help folks with slow digestion. These will contain seeds like chia, sesame, h**p, and flax...all seeds known to be helpful for folks who don't get much fiber and roughage in their daily diets. As a side-slicer loaf, the 9 oz size is perfect for people who cook only for themselves, might have blood sugar concerns, or who limit their bread intake.
