We even had the New Holland Fair Queen eating her share of Long Johns. THANK YOU to all who came out and enjoyed the fun!!

Saturday, Oct 3, 2026 - We are hosting the annual LONG JOHN EATING CONTEST on E. Franklin St, New Holland. Come out and join in on the fun. This year each age group WINNER recieve cash and a gift certificate to our bakery.
Entry forms can be picked up at our bakery or at the contest.
First 12 entries only, will be accepted for each age group – entries will be accepted at 2:15pm at the contest location ONLY. Be early to get in line.
First contest will start at 2:45pm

Sept. 23 - Ephrata Parade
Sept 30 - New Holland Parade
Oct. 3 - Long John Eating Contest (New Holland Fair)
Oct. 7 - Manheim Parade

Parade Note:
To have a chance at getting a Long John, you must remain seated and we will come to you.
We have strict rules to follow so that no one gets hurt by coming close to the truck. This is for your and your families safety.
Our walkers work very hard to pass out 4,673 total Long Johns for all 3 parades.
Please Remember, it is not possible to reach every person on the route.
