Meet the Family Monday 🖤
Meet Dolores 🤍 with a special appearance from her sister, Danita, because apparently one sister at Bingham’s just wasn’t enough. 😂
Dolores has been part of the Bingham’s family since May of 2014, more than 12 years of busy Sundays, holiday rushes, unexpected buses, full dining rooms, and everything else this crazy restaurant can throw at you. But, with the added stress of a full scratch-bakery.
Her favorite meal is the ultimate comfort-food combination: Stuffed Cabbage Soup with a Grilled Cheese Sandwich.And for dessert, she’s choosing Coconut Cream Pie
When we asked Dolores what she loves about working at Bingham’s, her answer was very Dolores: she loves working alongside people who aren’t afraid to work hard while joking around with a special shoutout to the guys on the line. 😂🖤
When the dining room is full, tickets are hanging, and everyone is in the weeds, our people dig in and get it done. Dolores has spent more than a decade being one of those people.
And you may recognize the other smiling face in this picture. Danita was actually one of our very first Meet the Family Monday features. 🤍
When I was a kid, people would ask how Bingham’s made so many great pies, and I would tell them we had Keebler elves hidden in the bakery. 🥧 Well, meet two of them.
There’s something pretty special about realizing that two of the women who kept alive that bakery magic I remember growing up are sisters, and they're both still here helping us carry it forward.
My dad loved people who weren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and work, and he had plenty of years to see exactly what Dolores was made of. I know how much he appreciated having her here.
Dolores, thank you for 12+ years of showing up, working hard, laughing through the chaos, and helping us keep this place the place people remember.
And to both sisters, thank you for giving so much of yourselves to this crazy little restaurant we all love. 🤍
