I hope we’re all excited for the holiday weekend, & ready to set the table with something special! One of my favorites, a flavor BOMB, the bayou shrimp bake! Served with; sweet bicolor corn on the cob, green beans, hearty potatoes, & savory andouille sausage in a Cajun beer sauce! Another fresh & flavorful filet this week is our Jamaican jerk salmon served on a bed of yellow rice, dressed with pineapple mango salsa! Moving on to a side I can’t sing enough praises about the fresh corn salad! Unfortunately the end is drawing near for our sweet friends season. It’s been selling out fast, if you haven’t tried it before the season is over, it won’t be back until next summer!
Let’s sweeten the mood a bit, have you tried anything as sweet, as a farm fresh peach pie? I can’t think of many things sweeter myself! We have small/large of the lattice or crumb top, and we also have slab pie slices available! We even have a peach raspberry cheesecake this week to indulge in! We have a nice array of pies, to grab on the fly, varying size, for any outing! Come on in this holiday weekend, we’d be happy to help you!

Now I do have some bad news… The summer corn salad, while fresh & delicious, will be approaching its seasonal end here soon. I enjoy building a plate with a scoop of the corn salad, some redskin potato salad, & a warmed Florentine pinwheel tart! This week our tarts have a lovely garlic and herb ricotta spread, roasted red peppers, sun dried tomato, chopped spinach, and a basil oregano egg wash!
It gives me quite the fuzzy feeling seeing all of the fresh peaches, lovingly transformed into such a variety of sweet treats! From the peach tart, peach cheesecake, to the slab pie, & either crumb or lattice in small/full sized pies! For our gluten free/vegan folks? The peach blueberry crisp always satisfies, without sacrificing dietary restrictions! We have plenty of other options, that are all peachy-keen! Come on in this weekend, and we’d be happy to show you what else we have in store!

Hello everyone, I hope your week has been treating you well! We’ve been cooking up some lovely options for you all to enjoy! From our delicate shrimp primavera over linguini, to the Poblano cream sauce salmon over Spanish rice.
Not feeling the sea? We have a backyard bbq ready for you! Our returning favorites of bbq chicken, and St. Louis style rib picnic dinners! Served with a side of mac & cheese, cream slaw, & baked lima beans!

To end on a sweet note, our bakery is truly a slice above the rest! Now that peach season is ripe for the picking, we will be hosting a myriad of peach options for you to enjoy! Peach tarts, slab pie, crumb/lattice pies, crisps, cobblers, cheesecakes you name it!

We strive to make sure that everyone can find something to enjoy! With many vegan, gluten free, and combination gf/V desserts for those sensitive/conscious of what they consume! But I’ll be honest… if you didn’t know going in that they were dietary sensitive, you wouldn’t have any clue! And some of our items in both the deli/bakery case are inherently vegan/gluten free! We have a little tour of the Mediterranean for you this weekend! Many of you already know just how delightful our lasagna is, but when paired with a chicken parm cutlet, & a hearty bowl of Italian wedding soup, it’s a meal worth calling home and telling Nonna about!

Just wanted to share my lunch today, the florentine tart was so good I wish I had heated up 2! The rich garlic herb ricotta was perfectly balanced with the fresh sweet corn salad! (Not pictured the slice of tomato pie that I already ate before the photo session, major yum!)
