Happy Burstday!!! My son requested a 'Chestburster' Aliens cake for his 30th bday. RKT inside, covered in Modeling chocolate & sugarpaste. After removing it from cake I rinsed it off, let it dry throughly and will paint it for a keepsake. Vanilla cake with cheesecake and cherry filling layers, covered in thin layer of stablizied whippedcream frosting.

I made this custom designed wedding keepsake back in May/June, I need to get caught up on pics of my recent projects. 😬 All Sugar paste, hand painted. Royal icing lace. Tiny white pearls for her buttons. Wooden dowels inside figures & structure for durability, and to last as long as possible. They are smaller than they may appear, 2.5"x3.5"x4" and the frog is about 1cm. 😵‍💫 I used Liz Mareks -Sugar Geek 'Flawless Fondant'

Made my first set of Angel wings and they are drying nicely!! I hand cut 150 wafer paper feathers, with a sugarpaste base! 1 Paper straw for support, with 2 toothpicks inside. Its my cake topper for a fundraiser auction for Dala's Blue Angels- Fighting Against Child Abuse, Lebanon Police Dept. I will have 4 custom cookie box sets with their logo & designs coming up next, I hand made the cookie cutters to match. 😁
