Leavenworth, Kansas food service establishment - the location was the former "Bakery Delicateza" currently it is "Petra's Imbiss Stube"
The current occupant is expanding to a new location after a super successful debut in this little building.
The building has a new type 1 range hood. Connections exist for both electric and gas range. Commercial gas oven, display case, reach in cooler, fridges, freezers and shelving will remain as will many other equipment. The building is ready to rock and roll for a creative entrepreneur!!! Happy weekend Leavenworth!!! We are holding bread and pastry baking classes today with the new owners of The “5th Street Wildflour Bakery” - here are some photos of shaped loaves - cheese bread, olive bread, old fashioned white, multigrain, and cinnamon raisin swirl - plus savory kolache!!! We will post some photos of their finished products in about an hour, thanks all!!!

We have great news Leavenworth!!!! The bakery will be reopening in October!!!! It will be known as the 5th Street Wildflour Bakery, we are happy that a local family has stepped up to the challenge and to the many requests of our old customers!!!! They plan on incorporating some of our old favorites with many new items and ideas!!! We can't wait for it to be a success!!!

Good morning everyone!!! We have a business opportunity for an industrious individual.

Our bakery is available for lease!!!

We would be extremely pleased if an aspiring baker decided to take over where we left off!!!

We would provide guidance, coaching and recipes. When we started we developed a game plan that really works and would gladly share that info. We know that the present economy presents some challenges but we are willing to work with someone to overcome them.

We can honestly say that with the correct approach great memories can be made!!!

Our Idea

We started this bakery because we like fresh wholesome bread. Some grocery stores around the area have artisan styled bread - it tastes OK and we sometimes even had bought it. But, if it can sit on the counter for a week and look relatively unchanged from the first day, one has to ask “why?”

We don’t want to buy something that has a long list of preservatives or artificial anything on the ingredient label. We just wanted good local bread. We hope you enjoy it. Thanks!
