On 10/11/26, after 114 days in the NICU, we finally brought our sweet Micah home! Born at just 24 weeks, he has defied the odds in so many ways. Our little anomaly has amazed his doctors and shown us just how strong he is. We are beyond blessed to have our healthy boy home, and we will never take a single moment for granted.

Leaving the NICU is bittersweet. We are so thankful for the incredible team at St. David’s North who took such amazing care of Micah and became like family to us. We truly couldn’t have asked for better people to walk alongside us through this journey.

To everyone who prayed for us, supported us, brought us meals, and loved on our family, thank you. We could never put into words how much it all meant to us.

Now, we get to enjoy the “newborn” stage with our almost 4-month-old. After 114 days of praying for this moment, our boy is finally HOME🤍

🚨 Not all bread is actually… bread.

Have you ever looked at the ingredient list on a loaf of grocery store bread?

15… 20… sometimes 25+ ingredients.

And we’re supposed to believe that’s necessary to make a loaf of bread?

At Boone Family Bakery, we wanted to do things differently.

Our bread starts with 3 simple ingredients:
🌾 Organic, unbleached flour
💧 Filtered water
🧂 Himalayan pink salt

Then we add the good stuff: jalapeños, blueberries, seeds, herbs, cheese… whatever belongs in that loaf🤎

No seed oils.
No artificial preservatives.
No unnecessary fillers.
No mile-long ingredient list.

Just real ingredients, naturally fermented, mixed by hand, and baked with care.

Because we think bread should be simple.

And honestly? Your sandwich deserves better🍞

Come see what real bread tastes like this week:

One week ago, I shared a GoFundMe that I secretly started for Ethan, and I honestly don’t have the words to express how grateful we are.

To our Boone Family Bakery community, our family, our friends, our church family, and even complete strangers… thank you. Every donation, every share, every prayer, every kind message, every meal, and every bit of encouragement has carried us through one of the hardest seasons of our lives.

Watching Ethan work so hard every single day to care for me, Micah, our home, our animals, and keep the bakery running while we’re walking through this NICU journey has made me love and admire him even more. Being able to surprise him with this support means more than I can explain.

If you’ve already donated, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you’ve shared the fundraiser, thank you. If you’ve prayed for us, thank you. You have reminded us that we are surrounded by an incredible community.

For anyone who has been wanting to help but hasn’t had the chance yet, I’ll leave the GoFundMe link below. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ease the financial burden of Micah’s NICU stay and gives Ethan one less thing to carry.

We are so incredibly blessed, and we will never forget the kindness you’ve shown our little family🤍
