🔔 November 2026 Schedule Update 🔔
Dear friends & family, it’s official — We’re visiting Cambodia again this November!
First of all, we sincerely apologize for the short notice! We only got a chance to put our calendar together today, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience our extended time away may cause 🙏🏼❤️
As many of you know, we recently shared a post about Lee’s parents retiring after running their laundromat in Canada for 27 years 🥹They’ve always wished to visit their birth country, Cambodia, again with their children and grandchildren. We’re doing our best to make that special family trip happen, and we’re taking this opportunity as a blessing to visit my (Natalie’s) family as well, especially my dad, who hasn’t been doing too well lately. Thankfully, this isn’t an emergency trip, but it means a lot to me and our little family to have the chance to see him.
The last time we visited Cambodia was in May 2025. As we’ve done on previous trips, we plan to bring school supplies for the children at the school and food donations for the villagers in the place where I was born and raised 🇰🇭
So many of you have asked how you could be part of these little acts of kindness. In the past, we turned down monetary donations and instead asked if you could save some children’s books for our next visit 🥹📚❤️
Well, friends, the time has finally come! 🥰📚
And in case you’ve forgotten, you’re already part of everything we’ve been able to do simply by continuing to support our little donut shop. Every donut you buy and every bit of love you show our family helps make these moments possible, and we’re truly grateful for each and every one of you 🍩❤️🙏🏼
📚This time, we’re collecting gently used books for little kids! 📚
We’d love to collect children’s books that your little ones have outgrown or no longer need. We still have a few books left from our lil’ bakerman, but not nearly as many as we had on our last trip, so we’re hoping to gather a few more before we leave 🥰
If possible, we’d especially appreciate books suitable for elementary school children. Their English is still very limited, and many are just beginning to learn and read, but we hope these books can help them learn, grow, and discover the same love of reading that books brought me when I was young. 📖❤️

📦 We’ll be collecting books through Friday so we have enough time to pack everything before we leave late Monday next week. You can drop off books at our donut shop during business hours.
We’ll keep everyone updated once we’ve collected enough books! 🥰
