So Lee saw how much I’ve been enjoying making videos for our donut shop he went and got me a pair of Meta glasses 👓 but I’m not used to wearing glasses regularly however I will try my best to use them hoping to bring ya’ll more behind the scene of what we’re making daily for ya’ll 🥰
But the question is, do you think he’s being considerate or is he trying to tell me that’s he’s too tired of me asking him to hold the camera for me?!😁😂

Thank you Mrs. Odell (Latisha Odell) for gifting us this beautiful surprise package containing special gift for the lil’ bakerman which is a very cute capybara plush toy 🧸 with a little backpack that has nicely scented pad in it (this is perfect for when he travels on the airplane next time😍), and this beautiful June’s edition Pink sprinkle donut scentsy 🍩 wax warmer along with other scentsy bars like Maple bacon donut, Toasted coconut donut, Raspberry filled donut & pink pineapple ‘n sugar ~all in donuts related and they smell amazing🥰😇 Mrs. Odell is one of the amazing teachers at lil’ bakerman’s school, we’ve loved meeting her at the drop off line in the mornings, she’s so sweet and supportive toward us online and offline, she’d always put in great words about us whenever people needed recommendations for donuts 🥹 Thank you Mrs. Odell for all the love and support❣️🙏🏼

Oh how we wish we could make something tomatoes in donuts 🍩 🍅😇 We could never brag enough about Fruits 'n Such Orchard. These was from the week before last week when we saw the farm’s facebook post saying that they had too many tomatoes and needed help buying them before all the rain busted them out so we went and got a bunch of tomatoes and a bucket of blackberries to make blackberry fritters for that weekend. we went and got both in green and red, we have tomatoes lovers in the house, especially when they’re fresh off the farm like the ones we got from them. Their tomatoes are so good and sweet that we don’t know if we’ll ever be going back to buying from the store now that we got a taste of what theirs are like, they are spoiling our taste buds 😁
I was born and raised in the rural countryside part of Cambodia until the age of 18 before I moved to the state, my family are all farmers, we were poor but we were never short of fresh veggies and crops 🌾 🌽 🥔 🥜… we ate what we grew and being that I came from a big family (I have 5 siblings) there were nothing that ever went to waste. Seeing how many veggies they had available my mind keeps urging me to rush there ASAP 😁 Now that they just shared that they have plenty of cucumbers 🥒 available too, that’s the one thing we missed out when we went there last time, they had so much to offer that we’ve lost track and when we were about ready to leave we saw there were more other veggies & berries that we didn’t pick but that will be the reason for us to go back again soon. We can’t wait to go back for more fresh veggies and berries 😋

Thank you all for visiting us today rain or shine! 🙏🏼 Yesterday was National D🍩nut Day and we were very busy so we thought it was only right slowing down on inventory for today but we were wrong again, ya’ll were here as if it was a grand opening day for us 🥹🥰 Thank you so much for the outpouring of support! We often ask ourselves what did we do to deserve this much love 😇 We’ll be at it again super ready for tomorrow 😊

✨Also we’d like to share some exciting news that Coast Monthly Magazine just did an interview with us and took pictures of us for their June’s publishing 📰🗞️ We shared a lot of our personal and our donut shop’s journey with them on the day they interviewed us and we can’t wait to share it with ya’ll too once it’s official released😍

This is what our National Donut Day showcase looks this morning 😇 And ya’ll still pretty much cleared us out of almost everything 🥹😍 We’re feeling FULL ( not just of donuts) but GRATITUDE!! Every year right around National Donut Day we’d get multiple phone calls asking what special do we offer on donut day like if we’re going to be giving extra donuts so and so on, so if you’re new here welcome to our little donut shop❣️We’re a small family owned business that run by a team of 3 (including our 6 years old lil’ baker man). We know we’re surrounded by so many other donut shops in the area but you guys chose to support us and we’re super grateful for that 🥹 With that saying if you’ve been here before you know that even though we don’t have a slogan saying everyone gets to have extra something in every purchases but we try our very best to throw in some extra goodies here and there when you visit us, it is just a way of us saying thank you and that we really appreciate your business, so basically you could say that it’s “OUR LOVE LANGUAGE” here 🥰

You know how much we love bragging about how wonderful our neighbors are, and this time is no different~ we’d like to highlight one of our neighbors The Craft Factory 🥰
So for this summer break we didn’t sign the lil’ bakerman up for any summer camp activities besides he’s already doing Katrate at our neighbors Premier Martial Arts, music 🎹 and swimming. We also want to spend more time with him after work too because when he was in school we didn’t really get to spend much time together and he also told us that he’d love to stay at the donut shop with us in the morning because he loves when you guys bringing in your lil’ ones in to play with him here (thank you) he brags to us how much of a blast it is🥰.
Yesterday was one of those days when he didn’t get to see a lot of his lil’ friends here and he looked very bored, plus he has been asking us to take him there (he called them the fun craft place) where grandma Joyce took him one time a while back and he still remembers how much fun is was and he loved it there. Our neighbor happened to have a little group of pop up camp and they made slime that day so it was a bonus he got to join in the fun with other kids there too and he loved it 🥰
When he was all done they packed him containers of slimes he made during his time there in the to go containers and he’s still playing with them at our donut shop today 😊 And now he’s already asking to go back there again (soon). One other thing we really love about our them is that she also have a 8th grader going into high-school this year helping them at work and he was really good and professional just like his mama and it makes my mommy heart smile seeing how helpful/caring he was to all the lil’ ones 🥹Same goes to our neighbors Coastal Teas, the other day we ordered drinks from her place and she had her young son bring it over to us too 😍 And our neighbors Mixing House also has her two sons helping with baking and cleaning in the back room 😇Our neighbors Southern Sass Vinyl & More also has their kids helping them too💙
One of the many great things we love about owning a small businesses like ours is that our kid(s) get to help out and learn so much life skills at such young age and we’re hoping they’ll grow up to be a responsible individuals, Lee also love’s seeing this — fun fact our own donut baker (Lee has been helping his mom & dad bake pastries at a donut shop in Canada 🇨🇦 since the early 1990’s it was also a small mom’s & pops spot called THE DONUT CAFE) hope we don’t give away his age 😜❤️
Lastly, check them out 👆🏼they offer so many fun things to do for the lil’ ones, so if you’re looking for something awesome for your kiddos to do during this summer break, we highly recommend them don’t forget to put them in your summer break to do list ✅ and might as well come grab some donuts from our donut shop too while you’re here 🍩😋
