10 years ago this little spice ball decided that she wanted to come into the world prematurely. She decided that at 32 weeks gestation she wanted to come meet her family. We say she came into the world kinsley style. If anyone knows Kinsley you would understand 🤣 with her being premature she stayed in the nicu for a week. We are thankful it was only a week as other families have to stay longer. During the week she was there we ran into some scary times are her lung collapse and such. We are super thankful for the help of the incredible nicu team, our families and friends. We got lucky but some families are not so lucky. September is nicu awareness week. Our nicu in rapid is in need of donations. We are asking people to bring to the bakery some premie diapers, Onesie, some receiving blankets or if you would like to make a cash donation. At the end of the month we will make a trip to rapid with all the donations and some sweet treats for the staff. In return if you would like to donate we will give you a 4 pack of cookies or cupcakes! Let’s get together and do this for these sweet babies.
