Going to the Orpheum Theater is like taking a step back in time. It was the perfect setting for this vintage inspired wedding. The three tiered cake features vintage details piped in buttercream frosting. We used a few modern serving trays to compliment our collection of antique glassware. Some of these cake stands are Depression era and are nearly 100 years old! (Stop in our store and take a peek at the collection we have on display!) One of the special requests for this couple was to somehow include jello poke cake, so we created elegant looking dessert cups.

"Have you ever made (insert trend here)?"

There's a first time for everything.

Bakers refer to this as a long sheet cake or a "slab" cake. They can be made in a variety of sizes, big and small. This one was made with 100 servings. The couple chose to put lighted candles on top of theirs. I've seen pictures with traditional wedding flowers, and even fresh fruit.
