My camera was constantly filming yesterday until it sadly died mid-afternoon. Going through all the footage, I couldn’t help but pull this moment out of it all.

Before anyone arrived. Before the music, vendors, backpacks + crowds. Just me + Jesus at 2 in the morning. He doesn’t judge my voice, so neither should you 😆. The lyrics are the point here.

I found myself praying for foot traffic yesterday. Not for Boswood, but for every vendor who took the time to show up, set up + take a chance on our little event.

Summer can be tough for small businesses. People are vacationing, traveling, getting ready for school + somehow already saving for the holidays. Everyone is stretched in some way.

So, thank you to every vendor who chose to be part of this small community-driven event.

Our neighbors continue to show up for Boswood + the people we bring together, + it reminds me WHY we do these things. The next generation needs us more than ever. Be kind. Give when you can. Show up for people. Try to be a better person tomorrow than you were today. Be a light + inspire others to do the same.

I often question why God led Victor + me back home to New Jersey. Just as often, He reminds me to trust that I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

“There’s souls in my hometown You wanna reach - God, use me where You’ll have me.”

So, here I am… “a flower in the concrete”. 🌷
