UPDATE: All of the items have been claimed. Our next market day will be Sunday, Nov. 2. If you didn't get bread today, I will post when items are available on Sunday.

For our Rivers Island followers:

Most of you know that we are currently selling our fresh breads and baked treats at the Stockton farmers' market on Thursdays and Sundays. At the end of every market, we typically have a few loaves and a handful of treats left over - not enough to do much good at a food pantry, but hopefully enough to help out some of our neighbors close to home.

From now through the holidays (and beyond, if need persists), after each market we will be placing a table with all of our leftovers out in front of our house for anyone in need to help themselves, no charge, no questions asked. This afternoon, we have fresh sourdough and focaccia as well as some Halloween-themed goodies available.

In addition, today only, we have a large number of vine-ripened, organic tomatoes donated by one of our market farmers. Please feel free to come over and help yourselves to whatever you may need or want.

Thank you, Stockton, for welcoming us to your farmers market so warmly this morning! Beginning next week, Blue Rose Bakery & Tea will be out at the Weberstown Farmers Market every Thursday AND Sunday mornings, from 9-1! And, for those of you who can't make it to Stockton, you can find us at the Manteca farmers market in the Orchard Valley Promenade every Saturday through the end of September, also from 9-1. See you at the market!!!!

Exciting news, Everyone! Starting this week, Blue Rose Bakery & Tea will be out at the Stockton Farmers Market at the Weberstown Mall every Thursday morning with all your favorite sweet treats, savory breads, and refreshing dried tea blends. Don't forget, if you can't make it out to Stockton, you can always find us at the Manteca Farmers Market every Saturday, from 9 to 1, in the Orchard Valley Promenade by JC Penney's!

For those who were disappointed to learn the River Islands has opted not to host a farmers' market this year - the Manteca Farmers Market will have its Opening Day this Saturday, June 7, from 9-1 in the Orchard Valley Promenade Shopping Center (by Bass Pro). Blue Rose Bakery & Tea will be there every Saturday morning through September with all your favorite Sweet Treats, Sourdough Breads & Bagels, and the Dried Tea Blends you count on for refreshing summer hydration. Hope to see you there!!!!

For all those who were anxiously awaiting the opening of the River Islands Farmers Market on April 26th, we've just received notice that the market has been cancelled for this year. Our market manager is diligently looking for another Lathrop location. We will be sure to let you know if one is found as soon as we get the word. In the meantime, we, along with many of your RI Market favorites, can be found every Sunday from 9-1 at the Mountain House Farmers Market (251 East Main Street in the Library parking lot). And, as always, if you can't make it out to Mountain House, we happily deliver all our sweet treats, sourdough breads (including our NY-style Bagels), and dried tea blends for free.

In addition to our regular menu of sweet treats and Sourdough Breads, we'll be featuring our new line of Bagels in Sourdough, Blueberry, Sundried Tomato & Herb, and Everything. Blue Rose Bakery & Tea will be enjoying a beautiful weekend at the River Islands Farmers' Market tomorrow and the Mountain House Farmers' Market on Sunday! Our menu this week will include: Macarons in Key Lime and Coconut; Croissants in Cookies & Cream and Mixed Berry; Scones in Cinnamon and Mango; and Bar Treats in Cheesecake Brownie and S'mores Cereal Treats. We'll also be serving: Cookies in Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip; Muffins in Black Forest, Cookie Butter, Cranberry Nut, and Pina Colada; Focaccia in Tomato, Mozzarella, & Olive and Garlic & Onion; and our special treat of the week will be our fall favorite Pumpkin Pecan Cobbler. As always, we'll have a selection of Vegan Loaf Cakes and our featured Tea sample will be our refreshingly iced Huckleberry Happiness. See you at the Market!
