Reclaimed Floating Shelf
The beams used for this shelf came from renovations done in this cottage last summer.. Old growth pine or fir used for rafters. Swipe to the end to see their previous state.
Finished using Dark Half & Half (citrus solvent & tung oil) for an all natural finish. Will take a couple weeks to fully cure.

Stained classic gray with a water-based poly top coat.
Self supporting hinges from keep the lid open at any angle (perfect for keeping fingers unpinched).
Lettering cut out on my CNC out of 1/2" MDF and spray painted black.
Little Spidey says it's the perfect height to launch his attacks at the green goblin from.
