So, let me tell you about the legendary cake I made for my dad’s birthday. You’re probably wondering, “What’s with the picture on it?” Well, buckle up, because there’s a story here.

Picture this: My dad was thrilled—thrilled—because he finally bought himself the RV of his dreams. I’m talking about the big, shiny, brand-new, never-been-used-on-a-single-road-trip RV. He had his whole future planned out—road trips, scenic camping spots, late-night fires… the works. I’m telling you, he was ready to live that adventurous life!

So, the same day he picks up this thing, he’s driving it off the lot, grinning ear to ear, probably humming a little “Life is a Highway.” And just like that… BAM! Out of nowhere, he gets into a collision with a black Lexus. Yes, folks. The man had the RV for maybe an hour. An HOUR. And already he’s in a car accident.

Now, instead of “RV Road Warrior,” his RV title is more like, “RV Repair Regular.” As we speak, it’s sitting in the shop, where it’s probably getting more of a road trip experience than he is right now.

So that’s why, for his birthday cake, I had to put that picture on it. It’s just a reminder that sometimes, in life… your RV dreams get hit by a Lexus. 🚐💥🍰
