Hiyeeee, I’m Leanne ✌🏼born & raised on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii🌺 Blessed with Gods grace & mercy, Our little family relocated ourselves to the Ninth Island— Las Vegas, NV last year of ‘21🏜
Food is my love language— whether you’re my taste tester, asked multiple of times —“did you eat?” or when an array of dishes are set out on the table with enough for left overs for “balon” (lunch) tomorrow, I got you! 🥹
Sticky Sweets was born back in 2018. My husband & I made it a goal for us to be present for our keikis, their milestones & celebrate us as a whole💃🏻.
The name Sticky Sweets ties in with our everyday livelihood. My Keikis who are my hyped little humans always asking me when I can make something new. My husband who’s my biggest supporter, everyone’s Mr. Aloha, my handy man to my spur of the moment ideas, & the smile you see when you pick up your order. My “Whys” for pushing through on the daily.
I’ve been in the Culinary industry for over 15+ years. Front of the house, back of the house, action stations, office work, dish washer, etc. I am one who asks lots of questions. Knowledge is power. Worked under amazing chefs who raised me mentally & physically in the kitchen. Got rid of bad habits & made me see things at a much clearer perspective when it came to taking initiative.
My creations are influenced from my culture of living as an Island girl & being Filipina. I love options, boldness of flavors & truly believe the phrase “you eat with your eyes first.” I’m a tad bit of an OCD person🤫 Believes that there is always room for dessert & love celebrations, especially during the Holidays✨ Truly believes who you surround yourself with is very important— support system. I run with Godfidence & caffeine. I’ve taken some time off to fully settle in our home, our kids activities, & enjoy what God continues to provide us. Being said, we’re back fully & can’t wait to be a part of your celebrations & bake y’all happy.
