Hi family and friends, I'm thrilled to announce that my cast is off, yay! The area is still quite sore. My physical therapy sessions are scheduled to begin on July 6th, and according to my doctor, my mobility is already ahead of the game. The exercises I learned from YouTube while I was in the cast have been beneficial. Moreover, the dough-making activities have strengthened my hand after 1.5 years of bread making. I tried baking bread and succeeded, but I'm not ready to accept orders at this time. I wanted to keep you all updated on my recovery journey.

Hi family and friends, I wanted to give you an update on my hand. The surgery went well. I'm in a cast now for another 2 1/2 weeks; after that, I hope to be in a brace, as I've been told. As soon as I'm able to start making bread again, I will post here and let you all know. Thank you for all the well wishes; they meant a lot to me.

I had surgery on Wednesday and it was successful. I'm in pain and moving slowly. I learned a hard lesson about missing my pain medication dose. Trying to do things with one arm is incredibly difficult, but my family has been helpful, so it hasn't been too terrible. Thank you all for reaching out and asking how I'm doing. I thought I would post here for those who don't normally text me, but I'll keep you updated. I do have cookies that I can sell - they're eight cookies for $12, and they are a little over the size of 2 regular cookie size. Just let me know; once those are gone, I'm probably done unless I can use both hands to make more cookie dough by then. I won't be baking this week or next week, but I'll be ready the following week. I just need a couple of weeks to adjust to the surgery and then a week to adjust to the cast, which I get next week. I will post here when they're available to order. Thank you all for the concern and blessings being sent my way.
