Hello! Loooooong time, no see. We've missed all of you :)
We are not back at the Farmers Market, however, next Saturday, October 17, we will be participating in the Rummage Sale community market at the Pioneer Women's Park, just a couple of blocks west of the downtown Main Street. If you are not familiar with that neighborhood - it is a gorgeous piece of old Las Cruces. We have many friends who live in the neighborhood and we are super excited to hang out with them for the morning 😊

Unfortunately, we are having to raise some of our prices, due to the rising cost of everything really, but particularly things like spices, fruit, and above all, high quality BUTTER.

We will have a smaller menu:
Plain sourdough loaf $11
Sourdough cocoa cardamom bun $4
Fresh cranberry orange scone $4
Spicy soft glazed gingerbread cookies, packages of 5 for $5, but you can always just have 1 for $1, etc.

If you are sure you plan to come by and you know what you want, please put in an order in the comments - that would actually really help us decide how much to bake, which is tricky, since this is a one-off event. Please place an order by end of day Wednesday, October 14, and please plan to pick up by 10am on Saturday the 17th.

Sourdough cabbage pirozhki
Sourdough cocoa cardamom bun
Lemon lavender teacake, whole or slice
Cranberry orange scones
We will be somewhere on the block between Las Cruces Ave and Griggs Ave.

Hello! We will be baking for porch pickup this Friday, March 21. On the menu:
Plain sourdough $11
Lemon lavender teacake $20
Hot cross buns $3
Please order by End of Day Wednesday.
Pickup on Rock Canyon Loop after 10am. Let me know roughly what time you will be picking up.
The Saturday that follows, March 29, we will be at the Farmers Market, menu TBD.
These two bakes will be our last regularly scheduled for a while. We plan to be taking a couple of months off to travel, tackle some house projects, and so on. We'll post here on Facebook and Instagram when we are back to baking and in what format.
If you ever have any baking questions or need some complementary sourdough starter we are always at 575 915 3112.

(Hot cross buns are a Good Friday tradition in many countries around the world. Ours are fermented for 30 hours, spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, orange and lemon zest, studded with raisins and cranberries, and brushes with some simple syrup).

Hope you all had a nice St Valentine's Day and Presidents Day weekend! Our entire household came down with some sort of a respiratory virus, but we are on the mend. As a result, there is not a crumb of sourdough to be found in the house 😳 so we are looking forward to this Friday's bake 😁
