Hello! We will be baking for porch pickup this Friday, March 21. On the menu:
Plain sourdough $11
Lemon lavender teacake $20
Hot cross buns $3
Please order by End of Day Wednesday.
Pickup on Rock Canyon Loop after 10am. Let me know roughly what time you will be picking up.
The Saturday that follows, March 29, we will be at the Farmers Market, menu TBD.
These two bakes will be our last regularly scheduled for a while. We plan to be taking a couple of months off to travel, tackle some house projects, and so on. We'll post here on Facebook and Instagram when we are back to baking and in what format.
If you ever have any baking questions or need some complementary sourdough starter we are always at 575 915 3112.

Plain sourdough $11
Sourdough hot cross buns $3
(Hot cross buns are a Good Friday tradition in many countries around the world. Ours are fermented for 30 hours, spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, orange and lemon zest, studded with raisins and cranberries, and brushes with some simple syrup).

Hope you all had a nice St Valentine's Day and Presidents Day weekend! Our entire household came down with some sort of a respiratory virus, but we are on the mend. As a result, there is not a crumb of sourdough to be found in the house 😳 so we are looking forward to this Friday's bake 😁
On the porch pickup menu:

We will be at the market this coming Saturday, February 8. We baked some blueberry lemon scones for porch pickup last week - thank you all who picked some up and provided feedback. We thought they were a tad too sweet (blueberries, after all, are not as acidic as cranberries), so we tweaked the recipe a bit by reducing sugar and adding in some lemon juice.
On the menu then:
Plain sourdough
Caramelized garlic Parmezan sourdough
Sourdough cabbage pirozhki
Sourdough cinnamon buns (with a bit of cardamom and vanilla)
Blueberry lemon scones
As usual, we are not sure where on the block between Las Cruces and Griggs Avenues we'll end up. If you need us to hold anything for you until 9:30am, let us know.
It is supposed to be a gorgeous day! Hope to see you there ❤️

We will not be at the market this coming Saturday, February 1st. (How is it already February?? 😯) We are though baking for us and for porch pickup. We were able to find some decent fresh blueberries, so we'll be making some blueberry scones for variety's sake. These don't have a sugar glaze drizzle, but a sprinkle of nutmeg sugar on top.Thus on the menu:
Plain sourdough $11
English Cheddar jalapeño sourdough $13
Fresh blueberry Meyer lemon scones $3
Please place your order by noon Thursday.
