Can we talk about these kinds of comments?

1️⃣ Pyramid schemes are illegal, so if you are talking about a BCorp company, you don’t need to worry about that. Other BCorps include Ben & Jerry’s, Athleta, Patagonia...it is voluntary rigorous certification process that legally binds us to more than 100 points of inspection, including ingredients, environmental policy, and financial equity for all employees. Don’t trust me, trust them.

2️⃣ I get paid not a single thing for signing up a warm body. Nothing. So if this isn’t a good fit for you, trust me sister, I am not trying to convince ya. I do believe in the power of holistic health to change your life though 👏🏼

3️⃣ Most professionals you know make $ on a sale of some kind-your insurance agent, your hair dresser, your local boutique, that influencer you follow...unless they are a public servant 🤪, the vast majority of our jobs involve commerce of some kind. I’m not going to stop going to my local shops because they happen to be owned by someone I know. In fact, I deliberately choose to support people I know and trust 🤷🏻‍♀️

4️⃣ Many of the objections you have about the industry are incorrect information, at least for me. I don’t carry inventory, I don’t do have to do parties, I don’t do autoship or minimums, I don’t need a certain number of people under me to be successful myself...are you very sure about the narrative you have in your head about your friend? I know I was very wrong with my preconceived notions (partially because I had seen it done badly). Not all of us are the same 🙈

5️⃣ You cannot claim to support your friends and then bash direct sales. Here is why: direct sales is among the only industries where there isn’t a wage gap for women. You don’t have to like this as a solution, but that doesn’t change the fact that it is one.

I am BEYOND grateful for every single person who has supported me in ANY way... I am so grateful to be able to do what I do & I’m passionate about sharing it so others know it’s an option for them too 🤍
