In more exciting news, Butter & Batter Bakery has officially filled our hiring positions!

I’m so excited to welcome two wonderful people to the team. We had so many great applicants, and I truly appreciate everyone who took the time to apply and support this little bakery.

Once this fridge situation is finally resolved, we’ll be back open and better than ever. Good things are coming 💕

🧊Fridge Update: We were finally able to get a technician out today after delays related to the manufacturer. We’re still waiting for answers on what caused the issue and the next steps for repair.

Unfortunately, this also means the storefront will remain closed this weekend (I know😔). I truly appreciate everyone’s patience through this very frustrating process.

‼️ Not everything goes to plan, and unfortunately that’s been true for this week. My refrigerator decided it was done cooling, which means I lost prep, ingredients, and finished product intended for this weekend.

Because of that, I will not be able to open this weekend. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and continuous support. This is obviously not the outcome I wanted and I truly apologize for it.💕

Butter & Batter Bakery is growing, and I’m looking for a part-time Bakery Team Member to join the team.

This role includes baking cookies, bars, cupcakes, assisting with cake decorating, and occasionally helping customers at the front. It’s a hands-on position in a creative, fast-paced, and friendly bakery environment.

I’m looking for someone who is:
- Creative and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen
- Able to multitask and follow recipe instructions precisely
- Excited to learn and grow
- Available for part-time hours (weekend availability preferred)

Dogs running on State Road 13 by Crabby Apple

Tried to get them but can't! I originally saw them by the building next to the orchard and got out to try to get them, then they headed towards the orchard but then crossed the street! They are now heading East through the fields.

They are staying close by each other, the pug is following the other dog.
