This Mother's Day, as I navigate my first Mother's Day without mine, I'm drawing on the strength and love she instilled in me. I want to celebrate her life with beautiful memories embracing the joy, love, and laughter that filled my life. She was a shining light in my life. I was blessed beyond measure.

Hello everybody!

I have missed you all so very much.

Nona has not posted since the end of last year.
For all of you that know me, I am not the shy quiet type.

Some of you may know that my amazing and incredible parents moved in with me in the fall of last year.
It was so beautiful and such a blessing

Sadly, my father passed away in January and my mom passed away in March. 6 weeks later. They were married for almost 70 years and they needed to be together. Its a testament of their love♥️

I miss them every single day. 🥹

Baking, cooking, being in the kitchen is something I cherish.
Wonderful memories that I will have with me forever

After taking time to honestly just breath.
I’m back doing what I have always loved.

You’ll know Nona can cook and bake. I really really suck at social media. 😞
So, I’m going to really try. But feel free to tell me what I am doing wrong.

There is a new facebook group and I am beyond blessed to be a part of.
It was created by a couple of wonderful, caring and kind individuals.

It’s a little nippy out this morning.

Nona restocked the farmstand.
Have a few new additions because we sold out early yesterday

*Vampires kiss parfait-it’s a black forest cake with a whipped chocolate ganache frosting

Restocked the homemade rice crispy treats dipped in chocolate

 I’m a Gen X, we grew up on hose water, blistering hot slides and very little parental supervision
The words still echo in my head…
Just come home with the street lights come on

Trick-or-treating was get your pillowcase, fill that bad boy up, run home, dump it and run back out like you were on the show Survivor.

I hit over 2000 followers. I think that’s the right terminology. I don’t know, I still type and text with one finger. I know! 😜

Wanted to give you an update

I have a few
~homemade marshmallow s’mores

~A handful of the wicked witch, sparkling spidar and a frame and the tombstone rice crispy treats dipped in chocolate

~Sold out of the Dubai chocolate skulls in about 15 minutes. That was a record.
~soughdough bread is gone
~parfaits sold out very quickly

But, never fear. Nona’s got you ♥️

I just baked up what I am calling

There are amazing and talented bakers and Farm stands in our communities. Give love and support to all. I know we all put our heart and soul into what we do.

~Small update : I just pulled out some fresh sourdough bread out of the oven.
There is traditional and traditional with a dusting of organic black cocoa
It really doesn’t taste like cocoa. I mean, just a hint.
It just looks spooky 👻

Good stuff for Halloween 🎃

~Dubai brownie chocolate skull/limited quantities
~Homemade marshmallow s’mores
~Three different designs rice crispy treats
Coco rice crispy treats or traditional with strawberry swirl
~Homemade pistachio cake with blackberry jam parfait-sooooo good
~ small Sourdough Boules

Everything is made from scratch by my two little hands

All the decorations are handcrafted and edible
The chocolate is Merckens chocolate
Organic luster dust and glitter
By the way, glitter should be a color 😜

Tomorrow, October 25 the stand will be open from 9 AM until dusk, or when I sell out
