Hi it’s me 👋🏻 It has been awhile! I’ve been busy starting a new full time job, coaching my kids’ track season and started marathon training. Still taking orders here and there but I’m so excited to be back at Niche Books for a pop up market on July 18th! What would you like to see there?

Introducing our first guest instructor for this winter’s semester of Decorator’s Lab classes:

Cailin of Seven Phases Baking Company 🍪✨

What began as a personal baking challenge (and a whole lot of butter and sugar) quickly grew into Seven Phases Baking Company, where Cailin now specializes in custom sugar cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and seasonal treats—each one made with care, creativity, and joy. Beyond baking, she loves collaborating with local small businesses and sharing her skills through hands-on decorating classes.

Cailin will be teaching our Royal Icing - Outline & Flood class as part of Decorator’s Lab, our short winter series that takes place within Winter Session at OVS. These labs are intentionally cozy, creative, and skill-focused, held in a warm cabin nestled in the woods—an inspiring space for students to slow down, learn real techniques, and create something beautiful.

We can’t wait for students to learn from Cailin and kick off Decorator’s Lab with her expertise and heart for teaching. 💛
