Gary here, the Dudes cruised to Lakeport today. We wanted to give Ferrigno's Bakery a try since I heard so many good things about their offerings. It's a small Bakery, but they have quite a few goodies to take home for that sweet tooth! They also offer several different Sandwiches of which I had the Salami. I'm in an Italian Bakery, I'm Italian, so it made perfect sense. This Bad Boy was served on a French Bread Roll and contained Tomatoes, Lettuce, Pickles, Pepperoncini's, Onions, Provolone Cheese-you have several Cheeses to choose from, and a healthy portion of Salami! I might have missed something, but it was sooo good! I don't know if they make the Sour Dough on site, but that's what a great Sandwich is made with. I use Perry's Deli as my litmus test for other Sandwiches and this one is above the grade. I have to ask Derek to use Sour Dough Rolls! There is a comfortable area to sit and eat in the nice cool dining area. You can even sit in the window and look out at Main St, with Mayo on your lips while passers-by give you that -you have mayo on your face grin. I even got a couple of Personal Cakes to go and they were very rich and filling.
I really liked Ferrigno's vibe and the food was exceptional! You have to stop in and get some Sweets and a Sandwich. They are on Main St. at 301 N. Main St. on the corner.
I found absolutely nothing negative about anything here, all was great! So Ferrigno's gets all 10 Napkins!
Stop by and give Ferrrigno's a try, you will love it.
