First, thank you to the Lord for another wonderful day, for all His blessings and another successful event! 🙏

A huge thank you to Hollie Brewer for giving us another opportunity to be part of their rodeo! We truly appreciate it! 💕 And to all our customers, we cannot thank y’all enough for coming out and supporting us today! 🥹💕

We ALMOST sold out of stuffed cookies and cookie cups! We had just ONE stuffed oatmeal raisin cookie and ONE carrot cake cookie cup left! 😶 We also completely sold out of a few of our classic cookie flavors! 😍

Now, we do have one question for y’all. WHAT DID OUR BANANA BREAD AND CLASSIC OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES DID TO YOU?! 🤣🤣 Because tell us why we still have FOUR of each left?! 😭😂 Y’all really said, “Not today!” 🤣

And of course, a special thank you to my husband, James, for always being there and helping make it all happen! ❤️

But seriously, we had the BEST day at the rodeo! We got to meet some wonderful people, see familiar faces, and enjoy every bit of it. 💕

Instead of thinking someone is copying what you do, just look at it as you inspiring them. 💕

After all, there’s nothing wrong with being someone’s inspiration. We all get ideas from somewhere. 🥰

And the best part? You don’t have to worry about what they’re doing. Just keep doing your thing. They’ll have to wait until your next move to find their next inspiration anyway. 🤷‍♀️

🎂💕 Welcome to my learning era 💕🎂

Second cake I’ve ever made, but my first cake order! And since this was my first time making a cake for an order, I undercharged by SO much. 😬🤫 This was a two-layer, two-flavor cake, and somehow I managed to price it for basically ONE cake. 🫠 But that’s fine, because now that I’ve actually made one, I finally figured out how I need to price each flavor going forward.

Also, thanks to my husband for accidentally giving me a frosting tip. 🤣 He said one thing, I heard something completely different, tried what I THOUGHT he said, and somehow we ended up frosting this one better than the first. 😂😂

But THE EDGES?! LAWWWWD Y’ALL. 😭🤣 Why is getting a clean edge so hard?! I was fighting for my life with that frosting.

But look at the difference between my first cake and this one! 👀💕 A little progress! I still need plenty of practice, but cake #2 is definitely looking better than cake #1.

We were on a break! 🤣🤣 A summer break, y’all. Sitting in the hot sun for five hours? Could we BE any sweatier? 😂🥵

James and I needed a break before the baker became the baked goods. I sell cookies. I’m not trying to become one. 🤣🤣 But we’re back! Time to haul the tent, tables and treats out again. 😂🍪

James met me before I became a baker. Poor man didn’t even know this job was coming. Grab the other end of that table, babe. 🤣💕

Made my first cake today! 🎂💕 And listen… it’s not bad, but it’s not great either. 😂 We’re somewhere comfortably in the middle.

I’m still learning the basic icing skills because apparently getting buttercream smooth AND convincing it to stay where I put it are two completely different talents. 🤣 I’ve still got a lot of practicing to do.

Also, I don’t have one of those little cake turning thingy yet, so I had to improvise. I used the next best thing… a cake pan. 🤣🤣🤣 Look, we use what we have around here!

I really need to start recording videos when I do stuff like this because the process is usually way funnier than the finished product. 😂

First cake down. We’ll see what cake #2 looks like. 👀🎂💕

The Polk County Sheriff's Office - ice cream truck just happened to be across the street giving out their free ice cream today, and one of the customers came back with one for us too. 💕

See, this is why I go to work with James. Apparently there are benefits. 😊🤭
