🚨 POP ALERT! 🚨

After countless cake crumbs, melted chocolate, sprinkle explosions, and quality control taste tests (it’s a tough job, but someone had to do it 😉), opening day is finally here!

Today marks the official debut of my cake pop stand, and I couldn’t be more excited! 🎉

On the menu:
🍰 Funfetti
🍫 Triple Chocolate
🍓 Strawberry

Each cake pop is handmade, dipped, decorated, and packed with way too much love.

Pops will be $3.50 per pop. At this time, we are cashless and accepting Zelle, PayPal, and Venmo. We’re operating on the honor system here so please be kind!

There is also a dozen eggs in the cooler for $4

My little stand is located on our front porch, which is to the left of the paved driveway.

The weather forecast said “severe storms.”

My anxiety heard, “Time to make sourdough.”

So while everyone else was stocking flashlights and checking weather alerts, I was over here feeding a starter and convincing myself that fresh bread was a reasonable emergency preparedness plan. 😂🍞🌩️

The storm passed, and now we have fresh sourdough. If nothing else, we rode it out smelling like a bakery.

My (almost 😫) 1 year old and I ended up going to a friends to get out of the path of the storm. Came home to find one of our dogs had DEMOLISHED about 16 of the wonderful blueberry muffins I made.

Did I clean it last night at 11pm? Nope

Did I wake up this morning finding it almost clean thanks to our other dog? You bet your butt I did 😎

In all seriousness, we’re so glad that there were no injuries from all the tornadoes last night. Some had a lot of damage to property and some lost homes completely. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected ❤️❤️
