In February my family lost our brother, Pat. This week he would have turned 34 y/o. 🤍 Pat loved my bread. He used to tell me "SH*TS SO FIRE." In all caps. 😁

This week I'm giving one loaf of bread of your choice to my 34th customer in honor of Pat. 🤗🥖🤗 If you're #34 and I get a little teary eyed when I give you that loaf I apologize in advance. 🥹

Last week I donated bread to Pat's church, New Life, and I will continue to do so for as long as I'm baking. 💕 Thinking of you and missing you big time, Pat!

MARKET MENU for 8/22! Make it Smoky Mountain sunrise edition. ⛰️ 🌅 I got home four hours ago and already want to go back! Okay, okay back to sourdough....

This Saturday you can catch my dough LSL Farmers & Artists Market from 8AM-NOON! 7:45AM for sunrise shoppers. 🌞

Gooey butter cake scones, carrot cake muffins and dill pickle smalls will only be around for two more Saturdays. After that, it's all fall over here. 🍂

📣 GUYS! If you want THE pies they're back this week! Thanks to my husband's coworker, Jeff, who ordered his second dozen this year I'm making them available to alllll of you. 🙌

Here's the drill. Orders are for porch pickup only in Maryland Heights on Thursday AFTER 4PM. Orders will not be ready before 4PM. TEXT OR DM me orders this week only.

*orders must be placed by Tuesday 8/10 at 2PM. It's a short ordering window bc it's a short bake week for me.*

Things to know about the pies:
*Only offered by the dozen or half dozen.
*The filling is a non-dairy marshmallow filling. It does not hold up well in the heat. It is recommended to refrigerate them when you get them home.
*They are individually packaged and freeze very well. This is how we store them at my house when I make them.

I'm not at a market this week bc I'm taking an end of summer vacation with my family. My next bake will be for 8/22. Hope you all are soaking up the last bit of summer! 🌞
