Did you know there are pink lemon trees? We thought the lemon tree in our back yard was a regular yellow lemon. Boy were we surprised when we learned it is a pink lemon!

I used one pink lemon today to make a simple lemon glaze for lemon poppy seed muffins. One lemon gave me enough juice for my glaze and a small glass of lemonade.

I am making Nativity cookies this weekend for another order to go out Monday. This is a set of 10 cookies, price is the same as a full dozen due to the many colors and time it takes to make these.

If anyone is interested in an order or two of these, now is the time to get that order in!

I will be focusing on other Christmas themed cookies as well. I have sample photos from last year that I plan to offer again this year.

Next Saturday, November 1 Tractor Supply is hosting a hometown heroes event to celebrate military, veterans, and first responders.

I will be there with some of my sweet treats, some wood crafts, and maybe some of my chunky chenille blankets.

My daughter will also be there with her crocheted critters.

Fresh Baked Banana bread and fresh baked zucchini bread available today!

I will be at the Inside Out Grill at 4:30 pm until sold out or they close.

I will also have some local honey and my sweet girl is bringing some of her handmade plushies!

French Vanilla 3 layer cake with Vanilla Bean Buttercream and homemade strawberry filling.

Assembly needs a little work. Taste testing is in progress and so far it is well liked. I have a fellow baker taste testing tomorrow.

Tentatively will have some cake slices available at the Tractor Supply Farm Swap Saturday September 13.
