I am so excited to be teaching cookie decorating classes at the CERC this Fall !!! Please join me for one or all four classes. You will learn how to decorate a set of FIVE cookies in each session. NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NEEDED. I will walk you through each step.

Tuesday May 9th is Session 3 of Cookie Decorating at the CERC. Here are pics of some of the cookies that we made last Tuesday (same class). It's all about textures!!
Classes are small so you get the maximum benefit!!

Session 2 of Cookie Decorating is coming up. We opened another session since the first one filled up fast. We will do some flooding, and we will be learning simple piping designs, piping simple flowers, and piping different leaves. We will also work with "PUFFY Icing" which takes cookies to the next level. You can still take the class even if you didn't do the first session.

🌻We will be painting on cookies, and experimenting with different textures. I will update post with more pics.
🌻Each student will have 7 cookies plus other tools needed for this particular class.

❤❤❤ We will be flooding some cookies just to get some practice in, since this is an important technique. However, the cookies we will actually be working on will be pre-flooded.

So folks I am so excited, the FIRST COOKIE DECORATING CLASS is tomorrow at the CERC!!
I cannot believe this is happening. I am so humbled, I didn't expect the first session to fill up, and there are people on the waiting list!!!!
I am so greatful! I love teaching and I love baking, who knew these two worlds would collide??

I have ordered a bunch of things for the first class, printed out a few notes and baked a ton of cookies (still baking...)

For those who would like to sign up for sessions 2, 3, or 4, I plan to go over a few things from session 1. So those that did not make it to the 1st session can still catch on but they would obviously need some extra practice at home.

Hello local peeps! I am not really on Facebook that much anymore. However I kept this page open because closing it down means that I have put all this work behind me.

While I stand by my decision, I do miss it. I miss the creativity part , designing a cake or cookies and then making them come to life!

A couple of months ago I was contacted by the coordinator of Lake Orion
Enrichment Programs and they asked me if I was interested in teaching a course about cookie decorating. Of course I said yes ha!

If you are interested to learn the basics and and a bunch of techniques so you can make your own cookies and gift them, check it out!You can take one class or you can take them all..
