It is with a heavy heart that I informing all of our fb friends that we are not going to be reopening The Sweet Shoppe. We struggled with this decision but after taking a long look at what we would need to do to reopen the store and how it would impact our family life, we decided it was not in our family's best interest at this time. We would truly like to thank everyone who supported us over the past 4 years and the friendships we made from from being in the store- those are invaluable to us and we look forward to seeing everyone around town.
Once that decision was made, we found another business owner who was very interested in our spot and have leased out the space to them. They are a local business owner and we would like to introduce them to our Lake Mary family and friends- Lawless Subs will be coming to the downtown Lake Mary community. They have been in business in Altamonte Springs for over 20 years and when I met them, I knew that they were going to be a good fit for our area. They are very family orientated and have lots of ties to the Lake Mary/Sanford area and know they will developed the same kinds of relationships that we did in the store. They will be starting work on the store this week and will have a table out for the annual Halloween Spooktaular this Thursday. Please stop by their table to say hello and welcome them to the neighborhood.

P.S. we will be selling some of our equipment and one piece that I know a lot of people had an interest in was our beautiful blown glass purple chandelier. While I absolutely love that item, we unfortunately just do not have a big enough space in our home to properly display it, so if you or anyone you know is interested in purchasing it, please feel free to private message me as I will be listing it soon.
