Happy 16th Birthday to my amazing son,Harley Brooks! 🎉 Can't believe it's been sixteen years since this blonde-haired, brown-eyed miracle arrived.
He showed us his determined spirit early on: 8lbs 6oz and 21 inches long, he came into the world exactly on his due date—a rare event that only happens for 4 to 5% of babies!
The ten months leading up to his arrival were a battle. Finding out I was pregnant saved my life, giving me the strength to quit alcohol and walk away from my own self-destruction. My pregnancy was rough; I was sick every single day, Harley had low heart rates and I had some bleeding scares. Every time a doctor expressed doubt, I realize now they simply didn't know the whole story.
I was told I couldn't have children, but God had a different plan—He sent Harley right when I needed saving. He truly had already ordained my son for His kingdom work.
Harley, you have truly and forever changed my life. I am so grateful to be your mom. Keep shining your light and working for the Kingdom! I love you! ❤️
