Now that I have officially received the “go-ahead” from both McNeese State University and LSU (thank you, Mr Michael & Mr Brian), I can finally share my exciting news with y’all!
A few weeks back when Josh & Jase announced their Lake Charles show, a local organization reached out to ask if I could create something special for a welcome gift basket they were putting together. Josh & Jase happen to be some of my absolute favorite creators, so you already know I immediately said YES! 😍
I created a gift box filled with custom cookies made especially for them that screamed SWLA, some freshly made Southern pralines, and a copy of my cookbook so they could take a few authentic Cajun recipes back across the pond to enjoy with their families.
When Mrs Katie delivered the basket to them at rehearsal, she said they were blown away by all the incredible items our local small businesses had made for them. I am still on Cloud 9 knowing that Josh & Jase actually ATE MY COOKIES!! 😍🥹🥳
I’m hoping to one day see copies of the photos their photographer took when they received the basket, but until/if that ever happens, you’ll have to settle for my own photography skills!
