Kreative Konfections seeks to honor Jesus Christ by using the creative talents He has given me to create high quality, delicious and custom decorated baked goods for everyday and special occasions. Each client and/or recipient is prayed for before and during the baking and decorating process, and 10% of all sales (including the value of items donated) is given to Christian Missions

8.27.2026 - Several members of Mary Figgins’s high school class are celebrating their 80th birthday this year. Since they had a milestone class reunion just a couple years ago, they decided to gather for a birthday celebration instead.
Thank you, Aunt Mary, for asking me to make this delicious 1/2 chocolate, 1/2 white cake for the party!

8.22.3026 - Unfortunately, the actual party to celebrate Chloe Briggs’ 16th Birthday had to be cancelled because of her illness; but Chloe and her immediate family were still able to enjoy her music themed cake.
The inside of this delicious cake featured chocolate and white cake layers alternating with buttercream frosting. The outside of the cake was also frosted with buttercream and the music notes were the actual first few measures of the Happy Birthday song.
Chloe, please get well soon and have a terrific year being a sweet 16 young lady!

8.20.2026 - Really excited that White Chocolate dipped rice krispie treats turned out so beautiful. The teal drizzle and gold sanding sugar added a simple but elegant touch.

I also dipped Reese Oreos in peanut butter white chocolate and garnished them with crushed Oreos.

Both treats in various flavors and designs are now officially available from Kreative Konfections.
Stay tuned — I am planning to add a couple more specialty treat items very soon.

8.9.2026 - My very first attempt at Cakescicles. This batch was pretty much a failure but sure tasted good! I am hoping to perfect these enough to be able to offer them to customers in the future.
BTW - they were strawberry cake dipped in white chocolate.

Let me know if you are local and want to help eat the learning ones while I practice. Warning- they are not Weight Watchers friendly.

7.31.2026 - Sarah Schlotterback, from Omaha, Nebraska, contacted me and asked if I could make a pineapple upside down cake and deliver it to her longtime friend in Kendallville who is celebrating his 90th birthday.
What a pleasure it was to make this double layer P.US.D. cake filled with whipped cream icing and finished with whipped cream details.

7.31.2026 - Today I had the honor of making the cake for Falyssatie Prater’s 17th birthday celebration. She is currently obsessed with rubber ducks, so her mom thought a duck cake in her favorite flavor of strawberry would make the day extra special. It has been such a joy to watch this young lady grow up and make her birthday cakes for the last 10 years. Happy Birthday!!!

7.25.2026 - After my mom passed away three years ago, my dad has been very intentional about getting the adults in our family (Figgins side) together on a regular basis. He invites my brother, myself, and his nephew along with our spouses and his sister for a dinner out to celebrate our birthdays.
Tonight we decided to end the evening with cake and ice cream at dad’s after dinner, celebrating the July birthdays of my cousin John (who is a big outdoorsman/hunter) and myself. This chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream/chocolate chip filling decorated with vanilla buttercream was the perfect dessert .
Next up will be John’s wife, Donna, and my husband, Bill in November.

7.17.2026 - This 18” x 24” full sheet cake (approximately 90 servings) was 1/2 white and 1/2 chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. I donated this one to my 45th Class Reunion (East Noble High School Class of 1981) held on Saturday at the American Legion in Kendallville.
