When I started Little Batch Bakes, I was simply a stay-at-home Mom who didn’t have any hobbies, aspirations, or a clue of what I wanted to do if I ever had to work (thank you to my husband, Tyler 🤍).
I remember buying a little Beautiful by Drew stand-mixer after a random itch and telling my husband, “I promise I will get use out of It.” So, I made cookies for family members around Christmas time. I thought to myself, “wow, this is actually really fun.”
Then, I randomly had the urge to make a cake one morning in January. January 12th, to be exact. My mom told me, “if you reach $500 in sales by July, I’ll buy you a Kitchenaid.”
I reached that within the month.
My parents both told me that they believed in me, and they wanted to invest in this newfound dream of mine by getting me an edible printer the month after that. I now use that baby every single week that I make your cakes.
I never imagined so many of you would come along for the journey. I never imagined that I’d be doing this. I never imagined finding fulfillment outside of juice boxes, diaper changes, and reaching milestones alongside my pride and joys, my children.
