This weekend is the last weekend before Christmas! If you want to shop local for stocking stuffers, presents, and FOOD, the Horse Farm Market is the place to do it. We're open from 8 AM until 12 Noon, and here's a list of some of the things available, for those who've never visited yet: (Everything at the Horse Farm Market is either hand made or home made.)
-Fudge! Brownies, cakes, home made bread, cookies, fancy decorated cookies better than Starbucks (yes I said it! They're great, I tasted them!), gumbo, salsa, BBQ sauce, homemade fancy ravioli, sauces and pasta, fresh seafood, fruits, vegetables, toffee, boudin!, pecans, honey, candy, pralines, pies, fancy flavored sugars, popsicle sticks, juices, eggs......and the possible food trucks.....
And, that's just the food!
-They also have old maps, hand made knives, swords, bow and arrows, soap, hand made clothes, kid clothes, Mardi Gras and other style masks, duck calls, Christmas wreaths, walking sticks, greeting cards, pins, pens, (someone makes their own fancy pens, they look cool....), ...and other stuff I can't remember....
And the weekly Cajun band, ...and face painting, for any kids or adults who want to get face painted to attend Star Wars
