It is with much regret that I inform you all that Nancy D's will be on a temporary hiatus from bread making. Personal and professional commitments will have me tied up until November 6th, so look for me at Freetown again on Wednesday Nov 9th. Have a great weekend and I'll see you all again soon! Running late but on my way to the Bayou Bazaar at Boho Mercantile, next to the Saint Street Inn and Olde Tyme grocery. Event lasts til 9pm, come swing by and pick up a couple loaves of roasted eggplant and/or butternut squash gluten-free, organic breads! Don't forget to EAT UR VEGGIES!!

Serrano peppers from my garden...to be featured with the zucchini and cilantro, all inspired by the Peachy-Mango-Habenero goat cheese I found from Belle Ecorce! Sweet and spicy, you won't want to miss this one!

Spicy Peach- Local Peaches, Fresh Cayenne Peppers, Fresh Basil.
(think- "peach pepper jelly")

Sweet-n-Savory Sweet Pot- Local Sweet Potatoes, "The Fruit Stand" Figs, "Bittersweet Plantation" Blue Cheese, "Bergeron's" Pecans, Fresh Rosemary.
(a little bit sweet, a little bit savory. a lotta bit delicious.)
