IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT VELVETY CAKES

Last week I the pleasure of making sweet treats for my daughter's graduation party. After posting pics, I received several inquiries asking if I'm back in business... and the answer is YES!!!

I have a different job where I'm off most weekends, so now I have time to do what I truly love. I am, however, limiting myself to certain types of orders. For the most part, I will be making of course cakes, cupcakes, pull apart cupcakes (cupcake cakes), etc. I will not be offering tiered cakes, cakes with tedious details, cake pops or candied apples. Below are examples of types of cakes/treats I'll be offering (modified to your preference).

Each month, I'll post the dates I am available for orders. To place an order, message me directly, or send an email to [email protected].

Delivery will not be available. All orders must be picked up from me in Lafayette, LA.

Lastly, as we all know, inflation is very real in this economy. I have had to increase prices for that reason. A non-refundable deposit of 20% will be due at the time your order is placed, and full payment is due 72 hours before pickup. If you place your order 72 hours before the date needed, full payment will be required at that time. If you cancel, or need to reschedule, your deposit is good for 30 days after cancelation/rescheduling. Cancelations must be within 72 hours prior to pick up. If full payment is not made within the 72 hours prior to pickup, and you have not officially canceled with me, your deposit will be forfeited. I understand like situations happen. So I will work with you as long as you work with me.

Hey everyone!! I was scrolling through my previous works, and I became a little emotional because I truly miss baking. So, I've decided (slowly but surely) to get back in the game. Given my career, I've been flip-flopping trying to decide how to proceed. God has truly blessed me with something, and it would be an injustice to not continue to do my part in sharing that gift. There will be limitations on what I'm able to offer, but I'll do my best to accommodate your needs. I appreciate everyone's patience and support throughout these years. I'll be baking for Christmas, so stay tuned for a post. 😊😊

Hi everyone! Just wanted to stop in and say hi. Many are wondering if I still do treats... The answer is, yes I do! My time is a lot more limited due to this new chapter in my life, but I'm still available. There are some limits to what I can do, as well as the quantity because of my new schedule, but I definitely do my best to accommodate my customers.
