💕 Vintage Heart Cake Class 💕

This class was SUCH a good one! 🎂✨ Every student created their own beautiful heart-shaped cake, and I absolutely loved seeing all the different color combinations and personalities come through in the finished designs.

We packed a LOT into this class! Students got a crash course in cake carving, learning how to take a traditional round cake and carve it into a heart shape. From there, we covered all the important foundations—layering, filling, stacking, crumb coating, and icing a cake before moving on to the really fun part… piping!

We dove into Lambeth piping, the ornate style of piping that most people today know as “vintage piping.” Students learned how to properly work with a piping bag and use a variety of piping tips to create those gorgeous ruffles, borders, swags, shells, and ornate details that make this style so recognizable.

And the best part? No two cakes looked the same! 💗 Everyone chose their own colors and put their own spin on the design, and they turned out absolutely beautiful.

🖤🎃 And if you love this style, keep your eyes open… we have a Halloween variation of this class coming in October! Same beautiful vintage-inspired Lambeth piping, but with a fun, spooky twist. I already know those cakes are going to be GORGEOUS.
