A Loaf of Love 💕
It all started when I decided to leave my teaching career of 8 years to become a stay-at-home mommy — the BEST decision ever! 🙌🏽
Around that time, I started seeing videos of people making sourdough bread and thought it looked so beautiful and fascinating. 🤩 After watching countless videos and doing lots of research, I finally learned how to make my very own sourdough starter. 👩🏽🍳
From there, I found a bread recipe and began my sourdough journey! I happily gave loaves away to friends and family and realized I had finally found a hobby that I truly loved! 🥰
After baking more than 50 loaves, people began asking if I would ever sell my bread. At first, I always said no. But one day something just clicked, and I felt God placing it on my heart to share this gift with others. That’s when the idea for my little micro-bakery was born.
Each loaf is naturally fermented and made from scratch in my home kitchen — a slow process that takes time, patience, and a whole lot of care.
As I continued baking, I discovered how to use my sourdough discard to make other delicious treats like delicious sourdough cinnamon rolls and sourdough chocolate chip cookies. It quickly became something I loved experimenting with in the kitchen.
A Loaf of Love was created to share simple, homemade sourdough made with patience, joy, and faith. My hope is that every loaf brings warmth to your table and reminds you that the best things in life are made slowly and shared with love.
From my kitchen to your table — baked with love!
**Not me launching my page with a typo in ‘faith’ 😂 we’re learning as we go over here! Profile pic is updated, but this post will stay the same 😅
