For those of you who remember, I signed up to be a Suger Angel through Icing Smiles. It is where we volunteer to donate a cake for children and their families that have a critical illness. I had the pleasure to do this one for a little boy, Jackson, and his family.

😅 Just to let eveyone know...I got the name wrong on this. It was a easy fix and thank god, she caught it. 🤦‍♀️ I would have died a slow death to know I had done this on someones birthday. I normally check and recheck but every once in a while my brain will read something and still not get it.

Welcome to Little Bits of Sweets

Our Story ​Our story starts with what feels like many years ago, with a two-year-old and good intention. I wanted my little girl to have everything she wants. And let's just say my best plans ended up with a chocolate cake and small Dalmatian figures being sucked into a massive earthquake. In a hurry, the cake wasn't cool and of course cracked melting the icing and sliding the pups into the center. ​ Year after year, adding new bundles of joy to the world (5 in total) made time to try over and over. Each year each child bringing new ideas and challenges to the picture. My love to make their special day into something given from the heart. This has turned into a love for baking and being able to share my passion with others and take a little love to their special day.​

We are a cottage law bakery- What does this mean? We follow guide lines set for us by the state of Maryland, to keep you protected. We are not a brick and mortar store, we operate from our home. We have our limits on what we can and can not do, but this allows for our business it to grow to become a store front. We take custom orders that allow you to pick up or have delivered. We do have our licence even though it is not required, we are LLC (limited liability company) and are insured. This is just some of our steps we are doing to reach our goal of becoming a store front and a great business.
