What our community is experiencing from today's tragic event is unimaginable. As a Central Oregon born and raised native, never in my wildest dreams could I think of something like this happening so close to home.

Tonight, we lift the families who have lost their loved ones high! We pray over each child who faced what no child ever should! We pray for the first responders, doctors, Silver Rail faculty, and community during this horrific time! We pray for the brave soul who acted quickly to stop the perpetrator!

This is not a red vs blue issue. This is a heart issue. Now, more than ever, is the time to come together, support, pray, and love one another.

I quietly disappeared from the kitchen for 10 days to become a temporary single mom to four kids while my husband worked hard to fill our freezer.
