Sugar cookies are my favorite thing we make, I’ve been making them as long as I can remember! My first memory of baking is making these cookies in my grandma’s O’Keefe and Merritt oven, won in a Betty Crocker bake off. Standing on a silver step stool chair pressing the cookie cutter down into the dough on a cutting board that pulled straight out from underneath the counter top and asking my mom if I could eat the scraps of dough. They are my favorite! Am I partial? Probably! But I can tell you that the kids say they are better than the “crack cookies“ from Target or Albertsons, I say that they’re better for them too. Do I still eat the dough? Probably!🤫🤭💞🌸

So proud of this girl! She’s kind, gentle, thoughtful and has strong convictions. She’s grown, flourished and has become one of my favorite humans. Over the last two and a half years she’s become apart of my heart, a partner in the kitchen and a one of the greatest gifts I’ve received. I couldn’t love her more if she were my own.
