Today was a bittersweet day for me. I turned in my work van, my computer, my badges, and all the things that belonged to the career I’ve known for the last 12 years. This is the last time I’ll make this drive. The last time walking through those doors. The last time I have to leave my babies.
And now it’s official.
Gemini Twins Bakery is my full-time job. 🥹🍞
I’ve had so many people say things like, “I didn’t want to bother you,” or “I didn’t want to make you bake just for me,” and I need you guys to know something:
You are NEVER inconveniencing me by ordering bread.
This is my livelihood now.
Every loaf, every bagel, every scone, every cinnamon roll—you’re helping me feed my family by letting me do something I genuinely LOVE doing.
There are very few places I’m happier than standing in my kitchen, covered in flour, making food for people. Obviously being with my kids wins 🤣 but baking for all of you is pretty damn high on that list.
When you buy a loaf from Gemini Twins Bakery, you’re not putting money into some giant company. You’re helping pay for groceries. You’re helping keep a roof over my kids’ heads. You’re allowing me to build a business that lets me be present for my family. And you’re giving this slightly crazy lady an excuse to keep waking up at ridiculous hours to play with sourdough. 😂
I don’t take that lightly.
The fact that enough of you love what comes out of my kitchen that I can look at my family and say, “Okay. We’re doing this.” is absolutely wild to me.
So please—order the loaf. Ask me to bake the thing. Tell your friend about us. Share the post. Come say hi at a market.
You’re not inconveniencing me.
You’re supporting my family. You’re supporting my dream. And you’re the reason I get to call this my job now.
