Good evening everyone!

The official date for this fall's Market Violet Cottage is October 26th! Sassy Sister Gifts , Chaotic Possum Baked Goods , Weaver Homemade , Wild Child Boutique, The Dillbilly, and Come Charm w/ Cindy, and Lynn's Loofah have confirmed availability for that date. I think Kiki’s Octopus Garden and Wickless Jewelz will be returning as well. Waiting to hear from Just Hang It with her awesome wreaths.

As it stands at this moment I definitely will have three available spots for a few that aren't returning. Next week I'll create the event and put that availability out there. So if you know of anyone who may be interested please tell them to follow the page and look for that!

Only four months away! We can shop for fall and Christmas decor and probably pick up some cool gifts!

Got to make this lovely, hilarious black cake for a 30th birthday! 3 tier, 6 inch vanilla cake with black cocoa buttercream. I’m not used to doing cakes, but I’m finding I’m starting to really enjoy them.

It has been quite a year!! But I am looking forward to 2024. There has been lots of ups and downs, but I am thankful to everyone who had continued to support and help me through my endeavors. I’ve learned a lot about running a business in this short time and I know next year will be even better!

I’m working on a website which will replace this page. It’ll be easier to post updates, email me for orders, and I’ll have a blog with lots of pictures of product!

Again thank you so much to everyone for everything.

Hello everyone! I know it has been awhile and I greatly appreciate all the patience and continued support.

I have had to take a break and change how I do things due to my health. I was fairly recently diagnosed with Lupus and arthritis/degenerative disk in my back, so it’s been a big change!

That being said, this is still very much a love of mine and I want to build this business. It just may be built a little differently than originally planned. But hey, I’m not called chaotic possum for nothing 😉.

I have made a fall menu and will be posting that before the end of the day. More pictures to come soon of my recent treats and baked goods.

For now, please enjoy this puff pastry, berry, and whipped cream dessert I whipped up last night. It was certainly a hit with the household.

Hello everyone!! I hope you are all having a wonderful Friday Eve and that the weekend will bring many joys!

For now I will be closing orders until September 2nd. There is a lot of reordering to do and some business dealings to get finished. Plus some things going on in life I must take care of (isn’t being an adult fun?).

I do so appreciate everyone’s support as this business grows! Once September 2nd rolls back around I will begin taking orders for Thanksgiving! Can’t be too early on that right?

It’s Friday somewhere! But any day is a good day to enjoy a moist chocolate cake with thick, gooey ganache. My mini cakes are the perfect pick me up on days where you need the Friday feeling!
